I am so proud to share with you these images from Tori & Christian’s wedding day at the Poplar Springs Inn in Casanova, Virginia this past fall. Tori was in touch with me very early in her wedding planning process after we met in Mexico at her close friend Danielle & Mick’s wedding. We immediately got to work planning a wedding day where photography was given a great emphasis. The Poplar Springs Inn was the perfect location in a great season, with great indoor and outdoor locations, I couldn’t wait to travel to Virginia to shoot their wedding. Of course our greatly laid plans had to be interrupted by  scattered rain and uncharacteristic high humidity, despite this weather challenge we pulled off an amazing day for Tori & Christian. Thank you Tori & Christian for having me to Virginia to document your wedding and most of all for your trust and friendship!

Liz and Andrew were married at the beautifull Adolphus Hotel in downtown Dallas this past fall. Their decor and design was amazing and much credit goes to Kristen Wolchik of Haute Floral for her brilliant work. I was excited Liz & Andrew were up for a day after session, we got up early and headed to the arts district in downtown Dallas. Chondra and David needed their engagements in time to send out save-the-dates, so with our time crunch we ended up shooting in the hot July weather starting at 8 AM. This is the only time I will shoot when its 100 out every day. We avoided the heat and captured some great photos. Chondra and David look so great together in these images. I am really proud of the shots we got. Great job guys, thank you!

Mallory and Ryan invited me down to Houston to shoot their engagement pictures at the Houston Oaks Country Club. I had never been out to Houston Oaks before and was excited to scout out the locations since their wedding will also be held there in the fall. The grounds turned out to be perfect for engagement photos and yielded some great images. Props go to Mallory and Ryan for being great in front of the camera.  Thanks so much guys, I am really looking forward to your wedding day!

Arianna & Mark’s amazing wedding was held at the Stoneleigh Hotel in Dallas Texas. Arianna and her bridesmaids got ready  in the suite on the top floor, and our first look was held on the balcony on the top of the Stoneleigh. Mark and his groomsmen sported traditional kilts and her bridesmaids in lilac (is that the right name for that color Arianna?) From day one Arianna emphasized photography as one of the most important things on her wedding day. I’m proud to say she chose me to document her day, and super proud of the photos we made. I will let the images tell the rest of the story, please enjoy!
